Data we collect

We do not collect credit card data: card payments are handled by our providers (PayPal, Stripe).

  • Quote requests: name, email, phone, company, languages, website, project details and attached files.
  • B-Roll Hunter beta sign-up: name, email, profile, channel or website, contact language.
  • Orders and client or translator accounts: contact details, billing information and data needed for projects.
  • Translator applications: information entered in the application form.

Purposes

  • Answer your requests and prepare quotes
  • Carry out and follow up orders, and invoice them
  • Manage our translator network
  • Tell you when the beta opens, if you asked us to
  • Measure website audience, only with your consent

Sharing

We do not sell your data. Documents to be translated are only shared with authorized translators and subcontractors who need them for the job and are bound by confidentiality. We also use technical providers (hosting, email, payment). Data may be disclosed where required by law.

Third-party services on the site

  • Google map: loaded only if you click "Show the interactive Google map". Google may then set cookies.
  • YouTube videos: thumbnails are loaded from Google's servers; videos open on YouTube.
  • WhatsApp, LINE: these links open services that have their own rules.
  • Translator application form: hosted on Google Forms.

Cookies

The site uses no advertising cookies. Audience measurement will only be enabled with your consent.

Retention

Data is kept for as long as needed for the purposes above, then deleted or anonymized, subject to legal obligations such as accounting.

Your rights

You can access your data at any time, have it corrected or deleted, object to certain uses and withdraw your consent, in accordance with applicable law (including Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and, for people in the European Union, the GDPR). Write to info@coreido.com.

Security

We take measures to protect the information we hold against loss, misuse and alteration. Accounts are password-protected.
